P1 finally unveiled♥
-7:29 PM

Sony Ericsson finally officially unveiled their super smartphone. Everyone thought it would be named P700, but Sony Ericsson announced it as P1. But dont worry, its still the same handset we all eagerly waited. P1 is based on the Symbian 9.1 OS and runs with the UIQ 3.0 interface. Not much of revolutionary features, but acomplete set of function it offers.
2.6" 262K color touchscreen TFT display with aQVGA resolution, a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, 3G support with video calls and WiFi, just to name a few. Stereo Bluetooth, QWERTY keyboard (like the one seen in Sony Ericsson M600), USB, FM Radio and a Memory Stick Micro M2 slot. Issues from market said that P1 is built in the M600/W950 base, then it means a lot more stable.
Bravo for the addition of 128 M RAM, Im sure P1 will perform faster operation.

"In one sense the SOny Ericsson P1 is an evolution of our P-series smartphone, as it pushes forward the best attributes of its predecessors," says Steve Walker, Head of Product Marketing at Sony Ericsson. "At the same time there are also significant improvements in design, speed and battery performance.
