Puzzle Cell Phone

This is one of unique phone I`ve ever seen before, imaging when I try to puzzle this phone back into its original shape, must take alittle time until I can put it back to my pocket. Assuming its not separate again when I take it out to answer a call :). Anyway, it`s special and capturing everybody attention, but easily damage or refuse to slide in back into its original shape.

LG Prada KE850

One of my dream brand is LG, it shines now generate a new stylish phone name LG Prada KE850. With the words "Prada" it promises a stylish phone for stylish people maybe, at least for people who care about their appearance. Design by LG and Prada together. It possesess a huge touch screen of resolution 240×400. Shiny black plastic with only 85 gms and look stylish of course.
Similar to IPhone contender with no keypad and shiny appearance. Its a triband GSM phone arm with GPRS and EDGE enabled with 2 Megapixel camera with autofocus, audio player supporting mp3, AAC and WMA. Ups.. I forgot, the FM radio too.
The right side of the phone is having a lock button , another button which on short press deploys Audio player and on long press deploys Camera.The Front panel is having three buttons with the call and end buttons on the either side of the silver bar and in between them. Battery life of KE850 can sit up for 10 and half hours or so with Four hours of Music in between that 10 hours. but the 4 hour long limit is pretty annoying.

Here is the full spec sheet and pic of the upcoming Nokia N81 8GB Slider. Hot news that I heard from the net it will be launced 4Q 2007 and arm with S60 V3 FP1. This one is a slider-followup of N91 8GB Music Edition.
Arm with Quad band EDGE with 2100 HDSPA (what was that? ;)), WiFi (b/g/w uPNP), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP with 3.5 mm slot. It also attached with "dedicated music and gaming keys"

Dualcore cPC basically is Windows XP on a device as small as a cellphone. This $1,500 handheld has a 5-inch LCD display and runs Windows XP tablet and Windows Mobile 5.0 on a 1.5GHz processor.

Users are able to switch between x86(XP) and smartphone. Battery life is quite acceptable: XP three hours, smartphone eight hours.

Another varian of Pocket PC? or Nokia 9500 killer? Let`s see further...

Today Sony Ericsson announced several interesting handsets. The highlight is Sony Ericsson T650 - the successor of the successful T610 midrange handset.

The Sony Ericsson T650 comes with a stainless steel finish and full 3G support with video calls. At only 12.5 mm, the bar-shaped handset also boasts a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus. The 1.9" 262K color TFT display with a QVGA resolution, a scratch-proof mineral glass and an innovatively brighter colors and a wider viewing angle. Feature-wise it's got all that it takes to rank with all current mobiles - stereo Bluetooth support, USB and a Memory Stick Micro M2 slot. The T650 also comes with some nice illumination effects which are linked to on-screen animations.

The Sony Ericsson T650 will be available in green and blue as of Q3 2007.

P1 finally unveiled

Sony Ericsson finally officially unveiled their super smartphone. Everyone thought it would be named P700, but Sony Ericsson announced it as P1. But dont worry, its still the same handset we all eagerly waited. P1 is based on the Symbian 9.1 OS and runs with the UIQ 3.0 interface. Not much of revolutionary features, but acomplete set of function it offers.
2.6" 262K color touchscreen TFT display with aQVGA resolution, a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, 3G support with video calls and WiFi, just to name a few. Stereo Bluetooth, QWERTY keyboard (like the one seen in Sony Ericsson M600), USB, FM Radio and a Memory Stick Micro M2 slot. Issues from market said that P1 is built in the M600/W950 base, then it means a lot more stable.
Bravo for the addition of 128 M RAM, Im sure P1 will perform faster operation.

Samsung SCH-W579 GSM-CDMA

I heard the isues from Internet that The US Federal Communications Commission has approved Samsung SCH-W579, which can work in CDMA and GSM networks. Besides the phone supports Bluetooth wireless technology. They said more details on the model will be available on the FCC site only in December 2007.

Due to the information I got from web, SCH-W579 was the dual modes cellular phone (GSM and CDMA) that both of them could be active simultaneously. No need to be busy turn on and turn off to change between the networks. And no need to bring two phone together, only with one button, we could choose the network that will be used. I think its cool to be able to use two networks at the same time. Besides, its economical to use CDMA networks (in my country).

This was the superiority of the Samsung SCH-W579 . It could be active in two networks at the same time. During the new cellular phone restart will have the SIM card choice whatever that will become the main card (CDMA or GSM). When being active, in the screen will appear signal indicator from the two networks (C for CDMA and G for GSM).

Turn me on:
a. Dual mode could be active simultaneously.
b. Handwriting recognition was as fascinating alternative for text message.
c. The imaging facility was richer and more fun.
d. Touch screen as the choice for the feature exploration.
e. Multimedia feature was complete (at least for me :)) .

Turn me off:
a. The cell phone size was too big, but I think its fair enough for it carries 2 mode.
b. When could reduced the size, definitely will be more good-looking.
c. The built-in memory was only 20MB.
d. Stylus pen could not be inserted in the cellular phone body.
e. The stylus pen position was hanged annoying during the taking of the photograph.
f. There was the risk for the stylus pen of being lost.

Released in Indonesia on March 2007.

SonyEricsson W580, Walkman Phone with Pedometer

On March 26 2007 Sony Ericsson announced one of my dreamphone, the new W580 slider Walkman phone in Orlando, a day before the official start of the CTIA Wireless show. This quad-band GSM/EDGE phone was designed specifically with the North American market in mind, something of a rare thing at Sony Ericsson these days. But I think lot of rare thing that Sony Ericsson trying to bring for us. Bravo... Sony Ericsson... I love your phone style, always represent my life style.

Sony Ericsson states that the phone will be available initially in white or gray, both of which will have Walkman orange accents.

As a Walkman phone, the W580 obviously caters to the music lover. The device ships with a 512MB Memory Stick Micro card that can hold just short of 500 songs when filled up by a PC running the included Sony Ericsson Disc2Phone software. A supplied USB cable will let the W580 be used as a USB mass storage device when connected to a personal computer. For those radio maniac (lol), the W580 also sports an RDS compatible FM radio. If, instead, you prefer to have your phone doing the transmitting, the W580's built-in Bluetooth stereo support will allow it to supply tunes to a pair of wireless headphones - not included (uh.. I hate this statement ;))

Other features of note in the W580 include the 2" 262k color display, a 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera, and a pedometer that can track steps walked and ran, speed, distance, and calories burned. In terms of software, the W580 sports a full RSS news feed reader, 3D Java games, and the Track ID application that lets users identify songs by simply holding their phone up to an audio source - like a car stereo speaker.

The Sony Ericsson W580 is expected to start shipping in Q3 of this year. The company has not released any pricing information at this time.

LG Chocolate shipments hit 10 Million
